Dabang IPS officer sent to bring down mafia

In a bid to put out the lid on the coal mafia, the state government has posted fiery senior police officer Dr Bharat Lal Meena as the Inspector General of Police, Bankura Range. Meena was recently transferred from traffic to West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) but was sent to Bankura days after the killing of coal mafia don Raju Jha in bollywood movie style. 

According to state police headquarters, Meena is known as a no nonsense, strict, baton wielding officer who instills fear of God among criminals. In a boost to action against Left wing extremism, senior IPS officer Gyanwant Singh has been posted as ADG CIF,  DP Singh was shifted from EB to traffic as Inspector General of police.
