Suvendu Adhikari Slams TMC Over Moving SC Against NIA Probe

BY A STAFF REPORTER: West Bengal LoP and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari took a dig at Trinamool Congress for approaching the Supreme Court against the NIA investigation on April 10, Wednesday.

Suvendu Adhikari stated that the TMC approached the top court challenging Sheikh Shahjahan's CBI custody but the plea was denied. Adhikari also recalled how the TMC moved the Apex Court seven times against him. He further emphasized that the Constitution and the law bind the Judiciary, and everyone should have faith in it.

The statement comes after TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee asserted that they will move the top court against the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with certain high-quality footage as evidence.
