Suvendu got relief in HC in Defamation case of Vineet Goel

By A Staff Reporter :  Kolkata Police commissioner Vineet Goyal filed a defamation case against Suvendu Adhikari following a tweet.The opposition leader of the state got relief from the court's order in that case.The judge ordered Suvendu Adhikari to appear before the Bankshal court on May 20 in the defamation case.And Nandigram MLA filed a case in the High Court challenging that order.Calcutta High Court Judge Vivek Chowdhury dismissed the lower court's order regarding the appearance in court in defamation case.

Incidentally, Suvendu Adhikari tweeted a picture of a bus and claimed that a bus is being taken to Patuapara in Kalighat under police security.He also indicated that money is coming.In a tweet, Suvendu demanded that Police Commissioner Vineet Goel should explain why the Kolkata Police is providing security to the bus.And then a counter defamation case was filed.
