Four Central Army jawans have been deployed as bodyguards for the security of these two BJP leaders since Friday night. Intelligence sources have expressed apprehensions that the BJP candidate for the North Kolkata Lok Sabha constituency, Tapash Roy, and BJP district president Tamoghna Ghosh may be attacked.

According to sources, the Union Home Ministry decided to deploy the Central Security Forces for the security of these two BJP leaders only after this apprehension was revealed.
