Before panchayat election, TMC worker killed at West Medinipur

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Before panchayat election, again a TMC worker killed at West Medinipur. A Trinamool Congress worker was killed in Chandrakona in West Midnapore district. His throat-slit body was recovered from an under-construction residence. Police said, The deceased has been identified as Batkrishna Pal. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has demanded a CID inquiry, saying they do not trust the state police. Meanwhile, when the police came to collect the body, they were allegedly stopped. The incident took place at Purshuri village in Chandrakona-1 block of Paschim Medinipur district.
