Speaking exclusively to ANM News, chief Post Master General, Neeraj Kumar said India Post has introduced the parcel helpline number to bring service to the door of the customer. “Whenever you need to book a parcel or materials for domestic travel, wedding gifts, and any other goods, just dial the helpline number and our postman will be at the door to it up and deliver at the given address within the stipulated time,” Kumar said.

The cost will be much less than one pays to airlines for overweight baggage and extra luggage. “It will cut down on worries and tension and you can relax after booking the materials at home,” he added. The parcel helpline service has already started as a pilot and is already available for people who want to avail of it.
