BY A STAFF REPORTER: Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, West Bengal's BJP President on Friday addressed a letter to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanding an NIA investigation in the latest episode of a large mob attack on the Enforcement Directorate team in Sandeshkali, North 24 Parganas.

The letter detailed the entire incident and requested an immediate NIA probe into the episode, mentioning that it is crucial for the safety of Law enforcement personnel carrying out their duties and maintaining the country's law.

Along with this, The letter mentioned Calcutta High Court's Judge, Abhijeet Ganguly's Statement emphasizing the governor's intervention and President rule's implementation as it is a constitutional crisis. Additionally, the BJP also requested for the deployment of Paramilitary forces in the affected area (sandeshkali).
