BY A STAFF REPORTER: As AAP alleged that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's health is deteriorating, Tihar Jail Authorities reported that his weight remains the same and sugar levels were normal on April 3, Wednesday.
Moreover, the Tihar Sources revealed that Arvind Kejriwal's weight is 65 kg and hasn't decreased. They also stated that his sugar levels are checked daily and remain stable. The Tihar sources also claimed his blood pressure levels are also normal.
Earlier today, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is severely diabetic and has lost 6.5 kg since his arrest. She also claimed that his health is deteriorating in the custody.
The authorities shifted Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to Tihar Jail and lodged him in jail number two following the orders of Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court granted Judicial custody of 15 days to Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquorgate on April 1, Monday.
Moreover, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday extended Arvind Kejriwal's ED remand till April 1 in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. The ED demanded a seven-day extension of Kejriwal's custody due to his alleged evasive replies and non-cooperation in the investigation. However, the court extended the remand for four days.
Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
