New Delhi: Ayush Badoni of South Delhi Superstarz made history today in the Delhi Premier League by hitting a staggering 19 sixes in a single T20 innings, breaking the previous world record for the most sixes in a T20 match. His exceptional performance helped his team achieve a massive total of 308/5 against North Delhi Strikers, making it the second-highest T20 total ever recorded.

Badoni's incredible feat came alongside a strong performance from teammate Priyansh Arya, who scored 120 runs and hit six maximums in one over, further contributing to the team's dominating display. Reflecting on his record-breaking performance, Badoni said, "I never thought that I will hit 19 sixes in a game, and I was only trying to time the ball, but I was able to execute it really well. So, I am really happy for my team."

When asked about his future in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the upcoming mega auction, Badoni maintained his focus on the present. "I am not thinking about the (IPL) mega auction right now. At present, I am only focusing on winning the Delhi Premier League," he added.

Badoni, who has played for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, has now etched his name in the record books with this extraordinary achievement, showcasing his potential as one of the most explosive batsmen in T20 cricket.
