Nkunku joins Chelsea

Christopher Nkunku has joined Chelsea from Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig for 52 Million Euros and will officially become a Chelsea player from 1st July. He has signed a 6 years deal, keeping him at the club till 2029. After signing for Chelsea, Nkunku has said that he is incredibly happy to join Chelsea and admitted a big effort was done to bring him to Chelsea and he is looking forward to meeting his new team mates and coach and wants to show Chelsea supporters what he can do on the pitch. He has described Premier League as one of the strongest league  and exclaimed he was very excited for the challenge. He has scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in 25 appearances this season, helping them to qualify for Champions League. He became the second signing of Chelsea after Kendry Paez, a 16 year old Ecuadorian midfielder from Independiente Valle. However he will join in 2025, after turning 18.
