By A Staff Reporter: India’s wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul is being dubbed the villain for India’s defeat in the finals against Australia. Rahul went into a shell while trying to steady the innings after the loss of three wickets and played a painstaking slow innings. Cricket experts believe that he played for personal glory relying on singles to a score a poor 66 with only couple of boundaries. He was pathetic behind the stumps, giving away byes and missing out an imp catch. India lost the match in the middle overs when Rahul along with Virat Kohli and Surya Kumar Yadav flopped and sank the ship. In fact Rahul never made any effort to push the accelerator and get runs on board and undid lot of positives initially unleashed by stormy batting by Rohit Sharma.
