Know some general information about Kalinga Super Cup

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Indian Super Cup 2024, also known as Kalinga Super Cup. This year is going to be the 4th edition of this Super Cup. In 2023, Odisha FC won the championship by defeating Bengaluru FC at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode.

A total of 16 teams are divided into 4 groups every year. Starting from 2023, the Super Cup allows a maximum of six foreign players in each team. But significantly, one of these foreign players must belong to the AFC i.e. Asian Football Confederation quota.

The Super Cup tournament aims to increase diversity in team composition. The participation of players from all over the world adds an international dimension to this Super Cup.
