Liverpool are in the need to sign quality players to challenge for top 4 again next season.

After having a below par campaign and missing out, from the Champions League, Liverpool are in the need to sign quality players to challenge for top 4 again next season. In their pursuit, they have signed  Argentinian International midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion for $37.64 million. Liverpool are also in hot pursuit of signing another midfielder in Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach.  According to the sporting director of Borussia Monchengladbach, Roland Virkus, they are keen to keep hold of Kone, but they will release him, or any other player, if the proper valuations are met. The Reds are very close to signing another midfielder in Khephren Thuram from OGC Nice for $69 million  after agreeing verbally to join Reds. The Reds also want to sign Benjamin Pavard  and are in talks with his agent. He has informed his current club Bayern Munich that he wants a move and Liverpool are a current suitor . Forward Roberto Firmino, Midfielders James Midfielder, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita have left the club after expiration of their respective contracts.
