Nigeria V Cameroon my prediction

By Avideep Nandi Majumdar: The knockout stages of AFCON will get underway with Angola facing Namibia and Nigeria clashing with Cameroon. Nigeria V Cameroon will take place in Abidjan. Both the teams will head into the contest full of confidence after registering wins on their last outing. Cameroon came back from being 2-1 down to win 3-2 and advance. Nigeria won their last game against Guinea Bissau. Victor Osimhen, after scoring in the first match against Equitorial Guinea,has been underperforming and missing quite a few chances.

It is seeming that his confidence in front of goal is very low at the moment. Nigeria will hope he will regain his scoring boots if they are to advance. Their defence has been good as they have conceded only 1 goal in 3 matches. Cameroon, on the other hand needed a win in their last match against Gambia to advance. They will hope that they can use that match as a confidence booster to play beautiful and knockout Nigeria. My prediction is 2-1 to Nigeria with Victor Osimhen scoring twice.
