Indian Rowing Team begins positive start at Asian Games

The Indian Rowing team had an excellent start at the Asian Games in China on Wednesday. The men's and women's teams had determination to secure a good finish.

By a Staff Reporter: The Indian Rowing team had an excellent start at the Asian Games in China on Wednesday as the men's and women's teams showed determination to secure a good finish. Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh were competing in Lightweight Men's Double Sculls and they displayed their determination by securing second position with a time of 6:27.45.

In the mean time, compatriots Satnam Singh and Parminder Singh also finished with a time of 6:27.01. With this, they both have qualified for the Repechage where they have to compete for Final A berths. The two ended up behind China's Zhiyu Liu and Zhang Liang.
