Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is expected to become the 3rd player of Chelsea after Hakim Ziyech and Ngolo Kante to sign for a Saudi pro league team. According to Fabrizio Romano, he has agreed personal terms with Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli until June 2026, and negotiations are at final stages. It is expected, according to the Telegraph, that Chelsea are expected to receive 50 million Euros from transferring Hakim Ziyech, Ngolo Kante and Edouard Mendy to aSaudi Pro League sides. He joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2020 for 22 Million euros and has 75 appearances, and became the first African goalkeeper to play in premier league since Carl Ikeme in 2012. On 29th May, 2021 he won the Champions League with Chelsea and kept 9 clean sheets in Champions League that season.
