India women's hockey team looks forward to Hangzhou

By a Staff Reporter: The Indian women's hockey team has left for Hangzhou to participate in the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. They boarded flight on Tuesday from the Bengaluru airport. India is placed in Pool A beside Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong China and Singapore and will open their campaign at the gala event against Singapore on September 27. In the mean time, Japan, China, Thailand, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia are placed in Pool B. The top two teams from each Pool will be selected for the Semi-Finals. Indian Women's Hockey Team will again be led by captain Savita.Deep Grace Ekka to be her deputy.
