‘People don’t understand the emotions of athletes’: Rani Rampal

BY A STAFF REPORTER: After India’s women’s hockey team lost Tokyo Olympic’s 2020 semi-final to Argentina, there were some casteist abuse towards India’s striker Vandana Katariya. Now India’s captain Rani Rampal said regarding this issue. Rani said,  ‘I really felt bad when I heard this was happening to her family. Her father died recently and people People don’t understand the emotions of athletes and the sacrifices they make’.
