Another trouble! Court extends Anubrata's Judicial custody up to 4th May

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Another trouble for Trinamool leader Anubrata Mondal. TMC leader Anubrata Mondal was produced before the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Monday after his judicial custody expired. The court extended Anubrata's judicial custody till May 4. However, arguments are on anubrata Mondal's plea to shift him from Delhi to Asansol correctional home.

On April 26, the ED arrested Anubrata's Sukanya Mondal. Anubrata Mondal was first arrested by the CBI and later by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).  The ED had earlier summoned Sukanya Mondal in a case related to unaccounted assets and bank accounts linked to her. Sukanya Mondal is a teacher at a primary school run by the state government. His arrest comes eight months after his father Anubrata Mondal was arrested by the ED in August last year.
