Jailed AAP MP Files Nomination For Rajya Sabha Elections

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Sanjay Singh, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party, Successfully files his nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in New Delhi on 8th January, Monday. 

Sanjay Singh, who is currently in Tihar Jail, was granted permission in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court to sign re-nomination documents for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections. He reached civil lines in a police van and signed the documents physically under vigilant security. He was accompanied by his father, wife, and some other individuals.

The enforcement directorate arrested AAP MP on 4th October last year and accused him as the key suspect in Delhi's liquor scam linked to the excise policy case.
