Rana Goswami Appointed As Assam BJP Vice-President

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after joining BJP, the former Working President of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Rana Goswami, was Appointed as the Vice-president of Assam BJP on 2nd March, Saturday.

Moreover, Rana Goswami joined the BJP yesterday after resigning from the Indian National Congress. He stressed that there's no reason to stay in Congress as it lacks tall leaders such as Rajiv Gandhi, Pranab Mukherjee, Rajesh Pilot, or Oscar Fernandes at the national level. Furthermore, he remarked that joining BJP is a 'political move'.

Moreover, Goswami will be the 9th Vice President for the Assam BJP. As of now, Bhabesh Kalita, who broke the news about Rana Goswami joining BJP, is the President of the state BJP.
