Lucknow — Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, while remembering Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, praised the architect of the Indian Constitution for his tireless efforts to uplift the oppressed and downtrodden sections of society. Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said, “Today, as we remember Babasaheb Ambedkar, we remember the man who gave us the greatest weapon of all — the Constitution of India.”
He also emphasized the significance of education, quoting Ambedkar’s famous words, "Education is the most powerful weapon used to change the world," and highlighted its central role in empowering marginalized communities. Yadav noted the continued struggles of Dalits, backward classes, and minorities, pointing out that Ambedkar’s legacy is still under threat today.
“His life is a testament to courage and determination," Yadav added. "He faced systemic discrimination, from being denied drinking water to enduring hardship in his education and public life. Yet, he never gave up."
