BY A STAFF REPORTER: IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed that the army targeted Ali Hussein Burji, the commander of Hezbollah responsible for several drone attacks in northern Israel.
"Today, in the north, we killed the commander of Hezbollah's air force in southern Lebanon," Hagari said. Burji has carried out several operations using drones against Israel, including an attack on the headquarters of the Northern Command today. Two explosive-laden drones struck the base in Safed and caused minor damage. '
Hagari said the attack on Burji came just three hours after the attack on the Northern Command base.
