The ruling Conservative Party has reacted with fanfare after the recent victory of the BJP in three states in India. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's close confidante and senior Tory party leader, Lord Raminder Ranger termed it as a victory of ``people's power.'' A senior member of the House of Lords, Raminder Ranger mentioned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ``made India stand tall in the world order with an improved economic situation and firm action on war against terror.''
India and UK are looking forward to strengthening the relationship to a new high level under the leadership of Sunak and Modi, opined Ranger. Speaking exclusively to ANM News over phone from London, Lord Ranger said trade treaty and increase in bilateral cooperation will give a fillip to the India-UK relationship.
