Indian hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh shared his emotions on winning an Olympic medal after a long wait at the Tokyo Games. "We had always heard about the prestige of an Olympic medal, given hockey's rich history of gold, silver, and bronze, but it had never been in our hands until Tokyo," Sreejesh said. He described the moment as a dream come true, especially since they weren't certain about winning a medal at the time.

Reflecting on the recent tournament, Sreejesh acknowledged the team's potential, saying they were capable of beating any top team, but expressed his disappointment at not winning gold. "In Tokyo, I was happy, but this time, I felt like it should have been a gold," he remarked.
