Khudiram Bose's Contribution to freedom

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Even after 114 years, whose story is still burning in the aura of immortality, the legendary Khudiram Bose who gave death a defiant smile is still alive in our minds. He was only 18 years old then, most of his friends were probably thinking about the experiment, but he was lighting the torch of revolution. At an age where most people find themselves busy in weaving forward a happy and prosperous life, he sacrificed his life for the country. Khudiram Bose was born on December 3, 1889. While he and Prafulla Chaki were sentenced to death for their participation in the Muzaffarpur conspiracy case, Khudiram and Prafulla Chaki tried to kill a British judge, Magistrate Douglas Kingsford, leaving explosives in the car they thought they were riding. On the other hand, Magistrate Kingsford was sitting in a separate car, in which barrister Pringle Kennedy's wife and daughter were killed. Khudiram Bose went ahead to sacrifice his life for the country with patriotism in his heart and courage in his eyes.
