BY A STAFF REPORTER: Great danger was averted. Security forces on Saturday recovered improvised explosive devices or IEDs from srinagar-baramulla national highway in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces cordoned off the area as soon as they received information that suspicious objects had been buried.
Traffic on the national highway was closed. Police said a team of 5 Rashtriya Rifles and Kashmir Police recovered the IED in Putkha area of Sangrama in Baramulla district. Efforts are on to defuse the IED.
