BHUBANESWAR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai on Friday visited the residence of late Dr. Debendra Pradhan, father of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, to pay his respects.
Speaking on the occasion, Sai said, “Today, we came here to offer our tributes to Shri Debendra Pradhan Ji, who is no longer with us. We pray to God to grant peace to his soul and give him a place at His feet. He visited Chhattisgarh often when he was a Union Minister, and I was serving as an MLA in the state at that time.”
Dr. Debendra Pradhan, a veteran leader and former Union Minister, was widely respected for his contributions to public service. His passing has been mourned by leaders across the political spectrum.
Several dignitaries have visited his residence in Bhubaneswar to offer condolences to his family. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and tributes received.
