Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was felicitated by the UPNL (Uttarakhand Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited) Employees Federation in Dehradun, where he praised the resilience of the people and the dedication of government employees, particularly during the COVID-19 crisis. The event was also attended by Minister Ganesh Joshi.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome, CM Dhami said, “The way you welcomed me and Ganesh Joshi, I express my gratitude. But if I say it correctly, I am not the only one who deserves this respect. The 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand deserve it too. They made history in the 2022 Assembly elections by rejecting the usual trend of anti-incumbency and re-electing us.”

Dhami acknowledged the relentless efforts of government officials during the pandemic, highlighting their role in ensuring public welfare during unprecedented times. He also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to addressing longstanding demands of the UPNL employees. “We are working towards the regularisation of UPNL employees, something that was not taken up before. As a former MLA from this region, I had heard your concerns and made sure they were taken forward,” he said.

The Chief Minister emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to operate with a spirit of service. “With the blessings of God and the people, we are fulfilling the promises we made. This is the BJP’s commitment—to deliver, not just declare.”
