Paris, France: In a thrilling match, the Indian Men's Hockey team clinched the bronze medal against Spain at the Olympics in Paris. The victory was particularly emotional as it marked the final match of goalkeeper PR Sreejesh's illustrious career. Sreejesh lauded the team's performance, especially their ability to bounce back after the semifinals.

"This was not an easy match," Sreejesh said, acknowledging the team's hard-fought win. "I think the team did a wonderful job... I am happy and going home. My family is waiting for me."

When asked about rethinking his retirement, Sreejesh responded, "For now, it's a signing-off."

He also expressed his appreciation for the support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, "PM always supports us. He told us that we did a great job and brought laurels to the country. He told us that the Hockey medal is a different emotion."
