AITC Candidate Krishna Kalyani Wins Raiganj Assembly By-Polls

Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal: AITC candidate Krishna Kalyani has emerged victorious in the Raiganj assembly by-polls. In his victory speech, Kalyani expressed gratitude to the residents of Raiganj, acknowledging their support for development.

"I am a resident of Raiganj and I want to thank all those who voted to keep development in mind," Kalyani stated. He also criticized the BJP, attributing their loss to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's attempts to politicize the Sandeshkhali issue. "People have turned away from BJP ever since PM Narendra Modi tried to poison the minds of people by politicising the Sandeshkhali issue," Kalyani said.
