Defamation! The police commissioner's application to the court against Suvendu

By A Staff Reporter :  Opposition leader of the state Suvendu Adhikari made a serious complaint against the police in connection with the name of Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal on April 16.Now the Police Commissioner has approached the City Sessions Court against Suvendu.The state filed a petition in the Chief Justice's bench on his behalf.It is alleged that this type of tweet is meant to spoil the image of the Police Commissioner and the police. A defamation case has been filed. Incidentally, after posting the picture of the bus, Suvendu wrote in a tweet 0n April 16, 'Vineet Goel's police guarded this bus from Patuapara. It seems that this bus has money. I will request CBI-ED to collect CCTV footage of the area.' The police claim that the complaint is not true. The whole matter has been looked into.
