BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, 15 students and scholars from Manipur were appointed as the ambassadors of 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' in an event held at the residence of Manipur's Minister of Education and External Affairs, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh in Imphal on Wednesday 31st January.
Furthermore, the appointed ambassadors were enrolled in the NaMo app to foster their engagement in the Viksit Bharat initiative. They were conferred certificates and mementos to recognize their new role. Consequently, the state minister, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan also delivered a speech expounding the concept of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Emphasizing the role of ambassadors, Ranjan underscored the slogan of the initiative 'sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka prayas' and its importance in achieving a developed India by 2047.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a government initiative focused on ensuring the fulfillment of core schemes in India's rural areas. The project comprises health camps, awareness campaigns, and other activities to guarantee that the advantages of government programs reach the designated recipients. Launched in November 2023, the program lets Prime Minister Narendra Modi interact with recipients of the program regularly to ensure its success.
