Journalist shot dead in Palestine

BY A STAFF REPORTER:  A senior journalist of Al Jazeera, Shireen Abu Aqleh died while covering an Isreali raid in a refugee camp in Jenin in Palestine. According to initial reports, Shireen got information about the raid early in the morning and informed her colleagues that she was on her way to Jenin to cover it. Isreali defence ministry officials confirmed that there was an exchange of fire in Jenin where Shireen died and her colleague suffered serious injuries. Shireen's colleagues claimed that she was shot dead from point blank range by Isreali soldiers. ANM News has accessed a video which shows moments before she was caught by the bullet.
