Justice Manjula Chellur has refused to accept monetary compensation

​By a staff reporter : Justice Manjula Chellur has refused to accept monetary compensation of Rs. 10 lakhs which was offered by the State Govt for overseeing the SIT in post poll violence matters. The Calcutta High Court has accepted that & has directed that the State need not pay any money but all other facilities should be given to her.

A contempt application was mentioned to be listed pertaining to a statement of a politician of a particular political party against the Court, where the words “Malik ka Tota”. That would be listed along with the other post Poll Violence matters in the future.
