In Ranchi, Jharkhand Minister and Congress leader Banna Gupta responded sharply to the BJP's assertion that they will win the upcoming Assembly elections and come to power in the state. Dismissing the claim, Gupta remarked, "They (BJP) are seeing 'Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne' from the day Jharkhand government was formed, and it will remain as a dream."
He questioned the BJP's credibility by referring to unfulfilled promises from their previous manifestos. "What manifesto will BJP bring?... They had promised that every year they would provide employment to 2 crore youths... inflation would come down... what kind of ethics do they have?" Gupta asked, highlighting the gap between the BJP's promises and the current reality.
Gupta's comments reflect the Congress party's confidence in the state's governance and its skepticism about the BJP's chances in the upcoming elections.
