Jaipur: Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore addressed the ongoing efforts to align with the Prime Minister’s vision of transforming India into the world’s third-largest economy. Speaking at a recent event, Rathore underlined the crucial role states must play in this ambitious economic goal.

"The Prime Minister has set a clear target for our country—to become the third most powerful economy in the world. Achieving this goal requires concerted efforts from the states as well," Rathore stated. He highlighted the "Rising Rajasthan" Investors Summit as a key initiative under the current administration, which aims to drive economic growth and investment in the state.

Rathore criticized the previous administration's approach to investment summits, suggesting that their efforts were more about generating headlines than fostering tangible results. "The previous government only organized the investment summit in its fourth year, primarily to gain publicity. They lacked the commitment to follow through on the implementation," he said.

In contrast, the current government has prioritized these initiatives from the outset. "We held the 'Rising Rajasthan' summit in our first year to ensure that the plans and proposals are put into action on the ground," Rathore added. This proactive approach is intended to create a more substantial impact and drive real economic progress in Rajasthan.

The minister's remarks underscore the government's commitment to not only setting ambitious economic goals but also ensuring that state-level strategies and actions align with national objectives.
