UNESCO Condemns 'Brazen' Russia Strike On Ukraine's Odesa

BY A STAFF REPORTER: UNESCO has condemned Russia's "brazen" attack in Odessa, Ukraine. "UNESCO is deeply saddened and strongly condemns the brazen attack by Russian forces on the city centre of Odessa, home to the World Heritage Site 'The Historical Center of Odessa'," UNESCO said in a statement. " 

At least two people have been killed in Russia's latest attacks on the Black Sea city and one of Ukraine's most important ports since Moscow pulled out of a grain deal that allows grain exports to Kiev.

UNESCO chief Audrey Azoulay said: "Russia's attack marks an increase in violence against Ukraine's cultural heritage. '
