Kansa Mama is behind the Rath Yatra!

By A Staff Reporter : There are many stories about Rath Yatra.One of them is the story of Kansa Mama  sending a chariot for Krishna.It is said that Kansa once called Krishna to Mathura.At that time Kansa sent a chariot with a charioteer to Gokul.On the call of Kansa Mama, Krishna traveled to Mathura with his brother and sister in a chariot.It is believed to be the beginning of Rath Yatra from there.Again, many believe that after Kansa badh, Krishna went to Mathura with Balaaram to give darshan to the people.
