Kolkata HC dismiss State recall petition on post poll violence

The recalling application filed by the state government on post poll violence has been dismissed by the five member constitutional bench of Kolkata High Court. The Kolkata High Court had directed the national human rights commission to investigate more than 500 complaints on post poll violence. The state government had filed a recall order stating that the state home department was not given sufficient time to look into the complaints. The five member constitutional bench rejected the petition.
