Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA  Aditya Thackeray has taken a sharp jab at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while thanking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for allegedly guiding the party back on track. Speaking to the media in Mumbai, Thackeray responded to recent political controversies surrounding the Nagpur violence and the demands to remove Mughal ruler Aurangzeb’s tomb from Maharashtra.

“We have exposed the government in one session itself—on the Budget and its false promises. We also revealed how it tried to use Aurangzeb as a distraction to cover up real issues,” Thackeray said. He added, “I am very thankful to the RSS for bringing back sense to the BJP.”

Thackeray’s remarks were in reference to a statement made by RSS chief spokesperson Sunil Ambekar a day earlier. While Ambekar's comments were not explicitly mentioned, they appear to have influenced the political discourse within the BJP, prompting Thackeray’s response.
