New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Union Minister Dr. Debendra Pradhan, remembering him as a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly for the people of Odisha and the nation.
Dr. Pradhan, a veteran politician and a key leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha, played a crucial role in policy-making, particularly in the fields of poverty alleviation and social empowerment. His tenure as a Member of Parliament and minister saw efforts aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged communities.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “Dr. Debendra Pradhan Ji made a mark as a hardworking and humble leader. He made numerous efforts to strengthen the BJP in Odisha. His contribution as MP and Minister is also noteworthy for the emphasis on poverty alleviation and social empowerment. Pained by his passing away. The Prime Minister also personally visited to pay his last respects, reflecting the deep respect and regard he held for the late leader.
