A complete breakdown?

By A Staff Reporter: Has there been a complete breakdown of law and order scenario ? Is state election commission completely failed in discharging their duties? Has the government machinery failed to anticipate such an extent of violence? The Opposition, Congress and Left parties re up in arms claiming that there is no government at the moment and election has turned out to be a farce. 

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP, Adhir Choudhury alleged that BJP at the Centre is in league with Mamata and TMC. Even a section within the TMC claimed that they are devastated and frustrated at the mindless violence and deaths and “hung their head in shame”. In an unprecedented panchayat polls, death toll continued to rise with no end to violence. The state election commissioner Rajeeva Sinha has completely failed and acted as a stooge of the ruling TMC, claimed Opposition leaders.
