New Delhi: In a swift humanitarian response to the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, the Indian Army has launched ‘Operation Brahma’ to provide urgent medical assistance to affected communities.

A 118-member medical task force from the elite Shatrujeet Brigade Medical Responders, led by Lieutenant Colonel Jagneet Gill, is set to depart for Myanmar. The team is carrying essential medical equipment and supplies to assist those impacted by the disaster.

The Airborne Angels Task Force, known for its expertise in rapid medical response, is specially trained to deliver advanced medical and surgical care in disaster-hit areas. Their deployment aims to provide critical treatment and support in coordination with local authorities.
