A Third wave in February ?

By a staff reporter : India is looking at an inevitable third wave of spread of Covid 19 with the omicron strain replicating 70 times faster than its predecessor, according to health experts attached to the union government. According to Dr VK Paul, member of Niti Aayog, health, the total number of Covid 19 cases of omicron variant can cross 14 lakhs per day in February. The Omicron has the propensity to infect even the fully vaccinated, according to senior doctors attached to the AIIMS. The union government has already issued an appeal to people to avoid non essential travel and keep celebrations low key.
