The top Chinese diplomat in Kolkata claimed that the news of Xi Jinping’s house arrest is a fake news and “figment of American imagination.”



Zha Liyou, Chinese consul general in Kolkata claimed that Xi Jinping is “well and truely in control” and entire news is “fake.”



Earlier a strong rumour was floating about a possible army coup in China with the military taking control and Xi Jimping put under house arrest.
