Two time Hockey World Cup champions Germany looking for another trophy in the tournament. Though their team not seems superiors parallelly to other teams. Still Germany on of the main contenders in the race of FIH hockey WC trophy. Germany, who won the title twice in 2002 and 2006, finished fifth in the last edition of the tournament in 2018. But this time coach Andre Hanning has said that they are eager to go a long way in the tournament. "We are looking forward to playing in the tournament and if we reach the semi-finals, it will be a big success," he said.
