Sensex scales 54 thousand for the first time, Nifty above 16,200

By a Staff Reporter: Sensex sets record as stock market opens. The Indicator rose 252.54 points in one stroke on the day. The Sensex at 56,044.81 points till the last update. Nifty has also increased. The Nifty gained 66.75 points to 16.200. This is the first time that sensex crossed 56,000 points. Tata Steel, Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank made the most profit as soon as they opened the Market.
