By a staff reporter: Vivekananda Kendra Uttarbanga Vibhag organised an online programme in celebration of "Sadhana Diwas " on 17th Nov.2021 at 6p.m.and paid homage to the founder of Vivekananda Kendra kanyakumari,Mananeeya Eknathj Ranade.
The programme started with 3 Omkars and Shanti Path followed by introduction by Bijoy lakshmi didi.The programme included two patriotic songs and violin recital by the students. The life history of Eknathji was narrated by Gopal Saha and the letter of Nibeditadi was read by Soma Das didi followed by bhajan byTapasi didi.
Malabikadidi explained the importance of Sadhana Diwas and Karma and strength of Eknathji very nicely .The Chief speaker of the programme was Sri Viswas Lapalkar, PaschimbangaPranta,pranta sangthak. He brought into light the objectives of kendra and the contribution of Eknathji .
The programme ended with Shanti mantra by Sandeep chandra Dey thereafter Kendra prarthana by Pradeepji.
The whole programme was conducted by Bijoylakshmi Barman. Total participation was 21.
