New Delhi | Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday inaugurated the Rajivika Fair at Bikaner House, highlighting the contributions of Rajasthani women in organizing the event and extending his greetings on Rajasthan Diwas.
“I want to thank the people of Rajasthan and all our brothers living across the country and the world. I extend my best wishes to them on Rajasthan Diwas. The event held today at Bikaner House was very well conducted by the women of Rajasthan,” Sharma said.
The Rajivika Fair, organized under the Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajivika), showcases rural entrepreneurship, handicrafts, and traditional arts, empowering women artisans and self-help groups. The event at Bikaner House serves as a platform for promoting Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and rural economy.
Sharma’s remarks underscored the state government’s focus on women’s empowerment and rural development. The celebrations marked Rajasthan Diwas, commemorating the state’s formation on March 30, 1949, with various cultural and business events promoting its traditions and craftsmanship.
